4.2 as a base was chosen for some technical reasons, but mostly because that is the first full version for the iPad. Its a tradeoff choosing a high base required version (I for one have an original iPhone that I would like to use as well), but hopefully this will be less painful in the long run as it reduces the number of supported releases we must test on, and reduces the chances that a current user will be “obsoleted” in the future.

feature request: add another option to “hide in rooms” in addition to “hide in lists”

initially i would just put devices into favs, but now i have too many and need to use favs as intended. but there are still a handful of devices i rarely need to get to and i would rather go via rooms rather than scrolling to 30+ devices.

You should be able to do that now. By selecting a device as hide in lists, it should be able to be hidden everywhere. Note that each tab (e.g. Rooms) would have its own ability to turn on/off the “Show Hidden”, so make sure while in rooms the “show hidden” is not selected when viewing the devices in a room.

on the device page, i have selected “hide hidden”

i goto the rooms page, i select “show hidden”

then i go into a specific room and hidden items are not shown

i goto filter and select “show hidden” and the hidden devices are shown

then when i go back to the device page, it shows all the hidden items.

Ah, I understand now. I’ll work on a solution for the next release. Thanks for the feedback!

Is there an android version? if there is how do i get it i dont use itunes?

Like the app but no support for the DSC Alarm. The device shows a skull and crossbones with no option to “arm” or “disarm”.

Also, why do my notifications show up as scenes?

Hi. Can you send me an email to support AT automatorapp dot com . With a little information I can add the DSC alarm to the next release and resolve the notifications issue you are seeing.
