New user square connect question

Hello All,

First post on the board.

I’m a little confused about the Square Connect App.
From reading the board, I see there is, (was?), an app called ‘Square Connect’ that cost $50.
I also see a reference to another one at $29.

The only one I can find on the app store is ‘SQ remoteHD’ for $10. I have an IPad.

The question: Are these the same apps with the same functionality? The pricing makes it look like they are different.

SQRemoteHD is the newest version.

The original version of SQ Remote was released with a $50 in - app purchase for the Vera connectivity. This was reduced to $30, and has now been effectively reduced to $10 with the release of SQ Remote HD
