First off thank all of you for any advice you can give a newbie here. I have a Yale Real Living coupled with a Vera 3 and need to know about the option codes and options that I see in the Vera WEB portal. The numbers for the values is what has me confused. Such as “Auto-Relock Time” values of 0-255. On the lock, you either enable it or disable it. What does the wide range of numbers mean? The same goes for the “Relock-Time”. The available options is from 5-255. This is seconds right? IF so when I set it in the on-line access, it takes several cycles for the new designation to take place. Is this right? I guess it would just help if I had some form of a legend that designated what the values for the programming mean. Thanks so much for your help. I managed to set it up, link it up and get email notifications like a charm after i followed the directions and allowed the lock and Vera to set together for 10 minutes undisturbed after it was discovered. My guess is that the range represents seconds too. Have you tried changing the auto-lock range to see, trying 60 since the default is 30 seconds? Then testing the lock to see if it takes a minute?

The value for “relock-time” is in seconds. The “auto-relock” just accepts either 0 (off) or 255 (on) …
The numbers give you the option to set the auto lock duration. (This feature does not exist directly on the lock).
There are a couple other things that you can do through the z-wave interface that are not available or expanded from what is available on the lock itself. I have been deeply researching the locks all day and have all the info now swirling around in my head.
I came here looking for this - I don’t seem to have any of these options for my Yale lock. When I click settings (wrench) for the device on the vera homepage, I have two buttons (lock and unlock), and a tab to set pins.
I really want to change the auto-relock time. How / where do I do this?
