Since setting up Alexa I’ve added some new lights and a new scene. The new lights appeared by the scene has not appeared on the list in Alexa. There are no locks or security devices so I’m expecting it would show up. Should it automatically pull through or do I need to go back through the set up process (as I recall there were options there to which scenes you wanted).
Yup Resolved. Cancelled the skill and went back through the set up process and it’s there.
Would be nice if there was a way to not have to start again but I guess once things are fully running people don’t often add that many new scenes.
I disagree about the new scenes comment. I often add new scenes…

Would be a stellar idea to update the official Vera/Alexa user guide with this info. Having to disable, then re-enable the skill in Alexa app to populate new scenes added to Vera is fairly unintuitive.

Shouldn’t have to do that anymore. Are you sure you are filling in the bubble next to the scene when “managing Alexa” and then discovering devices on the Alexa device?
Also, make sure you don’t have any security type devices or locks included in your scene.
If you go to https://home.getvera.com and login, then use the top-level menu and select alexa, you can manage your devices without needing to re-enable the skill.
