Who will be the first to create a plug in for this?! :slight_smile:
This device looks like a dream interface to automate our home theaters!

I should add that you can access this device over WiFi and use it to control home theater devices, even if they are bluetooth, like a Wii.

Cool. I would write a plugin if they sent me a sample device.

Writing a plugin for this device might be challenging. I would suspect this might be off of the harmony link setup used in the Google TV boxes which use the xmpp (jabber) protocol for communication.

Maybe true, anyway I sent a request for a sample to Logitech here in Sweden.

Yes, potential is high for this. Logitech has such a large catalog of device commands, I’m talking IR, Bluetooth and now maybe network…

If they somehow expose the list of all the network commands for all the devices, that would be very helpful for automation efforts.

Still no other solution to control conditioner, AV with one IR device… SQ Remote still not available… :frowning:

This would be great, is there a way to set up an IR receiver with the veralite, then the harmony could just send IR signals to the veralite activating a scene.

Is there a way to get the harmony to control Vera without extra peripherals? So, only the harmony ultimate over wifi to Vera?

Sucks there is still no plugin for this. I have a Logitech Harmony Ultimate Hub (LINK) on the way right now.

Wouldn’t be more cost effective to have your mobile device be the remote than buying a harmony device. I have the Harmony One and it always misses the inputs. I used my phone with. Griffin beacon to control av and TV. Then veramate to do my HA. I wanted the one to be able to use Vera but haven’t been successful.
