New License Required for new Controller?

Richard and community,

I purchased 2 licenses back in the day assuming I could move one onto a newer controller if I ever upgraded. Well the day has finally come, and I’m noticing that I get a registration error when I try to verify. Do I need to purchase another license for this new controller, or are they somehow transferable? Honestly, I don’t mind buying another license – Richard does great work. I’m just curious if there is a way to get my licenses off of a controller that’s now sitting in a box…

Since you have two, buy one for the new controller … send me an email with OLD and NEW VeraIDs and I will send you the second license.
