New Graphite Plugin on MIOS app store

Hi,

I see that there is a new Graphite Server plugin that got released in the Vera App store. Can’t find any documentation on the forums about it or who released it. The plugin itself looks very self-explanatory.

Haven’t tested it but I think it’s got tremendous possibilities. I was just thinking of offering a dedicated hosted server for our clients where they can login and then access their data/reports/energy usage on the web.

Some extra features that would be nice:

  1. Add username/password authentication in the plugin if you want to send data to external host.
  2. Under Data Type provide more options i.e Status

So to wake this thread up, did anyone ever get this plugin to post any data?

I have a graphite server so I thought I’d give it a go, the plugin connects and posts to the graphite server, however the line received by the server is ‘invalid’ primarily, I think, because it’s an empty string.

The reason for the empty string arriving at the server is that I appear to be unable to set the ‘Metrics’ from within the plugin. The ‘Add’ button does not appear to function, you can put what you like in the ‘Metric’ drop downs/text box with no-avail.

I know there is the DataYours2 code available but I would like this to run on my external Graphite server.

Any pointers welcome.

Same problem. I get it to connect to the remote graphite server but it does not post any data.

After uploading (replacing the existing) files on my Veraplus the plugin works!.

In this stage i’m still testing, and I must say, it works perfect!
