I am in the market for a new ceiling fan. Which would be most Vera friendly?
Am I better sticking with a 3 speed or could I get away with 6 speeds?
I have read reviews on Insteon FanLinc (I have no Insteon at the moment).
Looks like the Insteon Controllers would start at $220 all in (I’d have to buy the $80 Insteon modem for Vera; the wall controller and face plate buttons and the actual FanLinc canopy module.
Yes, new fans would be less expensive.
Is there a brand of fan (preferably with good lighting) that folks like that they have gotten to work with Vera somehow?
