New bug with using Colorloop

Hi

There seems to be a bug now with Colorloop effect not working properly and causing problems.

This seems to be a problem with my 3rd party Zigbee 3.0 LED controllers (Dresden fls-pp)

  1. Turn on the LED light strip
  2. Run a Vera scene to start the Colorloop effect

The colorloop starts and changes colours correctly as expected.

  1. Turn off the LED light strip
  2. Turn back on the LED light strip
  3. Attempt to change to different static colours using the AltHue devices colour picker.

You cannot then change any colours, using the colour picker in the UI7 interface it stops working.

I have to kill power supply to the actual LED controller and restore power before I can then change to different static colours again using the colour picker.

This is a newish problem and this did not happen before in the past.

If instead I use the Hue Labs colorloop and follow the same steps as above, I don’t see the problem, I can then after the colorloop, use the colour picker OK in UI7 to change to different static colours.

Its a very strange problem I am seeing.

EDIT:

You have to set effect to “none” to stop the “colorloop”.

After doing that, I can then change to other static colours OK again.
