Netatmo Weather Station plugin

Such are the quirks of Vera… the module statement is not used in the main Lua file, but it is used in the additional library file. Sigh…

I guess if you are installing the plugin for the first time you may have to wait until the apps store version is corrected. Not sure when and how the advanced variables are generated when installing the plugin for the first time but it may just require luup reloads and browser refresh.

I think the barometric pressure sensor is in the indoor module

It looks like the barometer is in the indoor module.
From the FAQ on their site.
Did you know?
The pressure inside and outside is always the same.
This is why the barometer of your Smart Home Weather Station is only fitted in the Big Module.
Guess I should have looked their first. Thanks for the responses.

Has the fixed version hit the App Store yet?

It was submitted last week, but is not yet approved.

You can check yourself in Vera by going to Apps > My apps and clicking on Details against the Netatmo plugin. I’m still showing 19.1216, but the fix (hopefully) is 20.109, IIRC.

Thanks I was unsure what the fixed version number would be.

@Sorin can you please escalate this - the current app store version (19.1216) is currently in an unusable state and causes Vera Lua issues if installed.

I’ll follow up on this and hopefully will be addressed shortly.

It looks like Vera updated the app(thank you @Sorin). I just installed and the " Luup : Failed to download all plugins. Will retry in 10 minutes " appears to be resolved, not sure about any lua issues yet.
Thanks for the fix AK :grinning:

Yes indeed. My fault, in fact, that it had not been approved… I appear to not have pushed one of the many buttons necessary to make it happen.

I’m about to download it myself to see if it works!

Kudos, once again, to the team for expediting this.

Thanks @Sorin and @akbooer

Hmmm, just tried it and 5 mins later it’s still stuck on

**Luup :** Downloading Luup Plugins

It worked for me (Vera Edge, 1.7.4799)

I’m on the current Beta (4903 on a Plus) - I’ve rebooted and this time it installed perfectly.

I think 7.31 has some real underlying issues as I’ve been having random scenes failing due to the state changes not completing successfully.

Thinking back to my first attempt to install Netatmo today, the install process did not look normal as I never got that pop-up dialogue showing the install process followed by “it’s now safe to exit this screen”.

Thanks for the fix, after updating to the latest the reoccuring downloqd issue is gone.

Thanks for this Great plugin.

Any way i can change the frequency of update? I know the netatmo sever is updated every 5 mins but in the app i am updating only every 10 mins. When i change in the parent device’s variable page it defaults back to 10.

Also the SensorRain value is always zero but SensorSunRain1 works and has value here. Just thinking loud if the value is ZERO because it done not have 0.000 (three decimals) store value.

its super cool to have it control my awnings with wind speeds, rain and temperature.

Quoating the Netatmo API documentation:

" Keep in mind that data are measured every 5 minutes by the modules and sent to the servers every 10 minutes ."

Thanks for your reply. my sincere apologies for double posting this question under this thread and starting a new thread. Posting a link to the new thread question and answer here to consolidate the answer - both answers are exactly the same.

I’m not sure if this was an App update or just because my Netatmo lost power for an hour last night, but all my Netatmo child devices just lost their id’s and Room setting and all re-spawned with new ID’s and no Room breaking all my reactor sensors that relied on them. :frowning:

Anyone else have this issue?

PS, @akbooer any chance you could update the Plugin logic to prevent existing devices from being replaced like this?
