Up until the most recent updates to the Android app (Vera Mobile UI7) my Nest Thermostats would show up with proper controls although sometimes throw errors. Now they show up in the app but only with a light bulb icon. iOS app seems fine as is the web applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t know if the author(s) of the Android app you are referring to read this subforum, but it sounds like they have changed something in the app that has broken their support for the Nest plugin. I use the AutHomation app on Android, but I’ve not moved to UI7 (is there an official release of UI7 yet or will it change before there is a final version)?
I recommend communicating your observations directly with the authors of your Android app, unless you believe that the code change that broke support happened elsewhere.
