Nefit is launching their smart thermostate…
Anyone has already some experience with this thermostat? It has built in Wifi.
I hope there is someone that makes an app or a device to be used in Vera… ;D

I would be very much interested! On Nefit’s website I cannot find any real info on how it really works…
If a plugin comes available this would be a great possibility to control my Nefit!
I have a Nefit easy. Can I control this with the vera? It can be done by using the API?
Does anyone have the api documentation?
According to Nefit they do not give the API documentation. They do not now and are not planning to do so in the future… so it is and remains (as it always was) a closed system.
Only controllable via the android or iPhone app.
It’s a pity and a shame they do not give open a way to control tempterature externally to enable domotica equipment to interact with my heating system.
Check out opentherm. It’s a bit of hardware gateway that sits between your nefit and the thermostat. There is also an opentherm Vera plugin

Thanks. I know it exists. But I have the Nefit easy and an old boiler with no opentherm…
Update: In Domoticz it is a piece of cake running this.
Install a docker package (e.g. on your nas): nefit http server.
Add 3 variables in the docker package
NEFIT_SERIAL_NUMBER=
NEFIT_ACCESS_KEY=
NEFIT_PASSWORD=
In Domoticz add the nefit http server and add the docker ip adress (in my case a synology nas), and the given port number from docker.
It gives you alle devices in domoticz and you can control them all.
Why is this SO EASY there and SO HARD in Vera? the place where I need it?
I have a 97 astro van and need to replace the thermostat Im couturier wuich thermostat I should use the 160 degree or if the 195 would be ok

Could you please help me out on the part “add the docker to synology nas”?
Although it should be very easy, I’m staring myself blind on what I do wrong:
