I am trying to connect a liftmaster garage deadbolt to a manual garage door since I don’t have room in my garage for an electric lift nor do I want one. However, I would like to have a deadbolt for added security and automate some kind of lock on it. I will also add a open/closed sensor to the door to know if it is physically opened or closed. First, I need to have 2 zwave relays connected to an outlet. I would also have 2 switches to manually lock/unlock the deadbolt. From there I would need two 24vdc (manufacturer wouldn’t give me specifics but this is what others have said there was also some testing done on youtube and looks like 12vdc is all i really need) power supplies going into the device(deadbolt) and each plug plugged into the outlet which the relays would make automated if they are zwave. One power supply will be wired with normal polarity and the other with reverse polarity. This way one outlet will unlock and the other will unlock via zwave commands. This is how this deadbolt locks and unlocks. I am looking for a solution to the zwave portion and/or help with wiring if using somthing a bit less or more complicated than what I wrote above. Any ideas would be great. Thank you in advance.
Any suggestions would be awesome including any wiring help. Thank you.
Here is the deadbolt
