Nano - Two Devices on A4 and A5 (SDA and SCL respectively)

As an ME not an EE, I’m outside of my comfort zone here so I’ll just ask the question.

Can I wire both a Barometer (BMP180) AND a my serial LCD display on the same two SDA and SCL terminals?

I’m assuming that their unique addresses will allow them to communicate side-by-side but… I really don’t know.

If I cannot do that, then what may be an alternative such that I can wire in the display output alongside the weather station input functions of this node in my array of sensors.

I want to display temp, humidity, barometric pressure and forecast in the device containing all of the sensors and the Nano.

I have it all working except this crossover.

Any help appreciated…

OK, I found SoftwareSerial and it looks promising.

Anyone out there tried this?

Looks like an Arduino forum question, but I thought I’d try…

Yep you can do this. Iirc its called the i2c bus. I use rtc and LCD on these pins…
