Hi Guys
So I ordered this thing yesterday - https://getmyo.com/
This is (as far as I know) the first and only device that allows you to control things using gestures without using static cameras and IR sensors placed somewhere.
I have been playing with my dev version of the Leap Motion and it is cool for doing things on laptops and tablets but I don?t think it has the potential of the MYO around the house.
I will use it primarily as a remote control for my HTPC but I am just imagining the possibilities related to home automation.
Catch is - it uses Bluetooth so it needs an intermediate device that supports Bluetooth and is able to communicate with the controller. Like a smartphone…
So for the Android developers out there I?m thinking:
Assign scenes to gestures - (we could already be halfway there when using Tasker / Llama Integration)
Thanks for reading my rant…
