I was wondering what options were available for the (presumably common) situation where one thermostat in a central area controls a single zone providing heat to multiple rooms? The problem, of course, is that said “central” location probably does not provide a representative sample of the various temperatures in the various rooms, so you could end up with one room cold while another is overly warm, even though the thermostat says the temperature is “just right”
Ideally I’d like to see a system with a sensor in each room, such that it can use the actual average temperature of all the areas to determine if heat should be called for or not, and which integrates with my Ezlo plus for things like automated set-back and the like. Does such a system exist?
