Hello
I am trying to configure some devices, and I am wondering if someone can explain what Multi-channel association is.
I am currently using “normal” association, but have never filled anything in the multi section.
Anyone know what this is?

multi-channel association is when you have a z-wave device with multiple devices in 1. you can see this at the advanced tab of the device. the main device is controlled by z-wave and the child-devices are controlled by the main device and have an ID like e1,e2,e3… etc. its best practice to leave the child-devices alone and do all variable settings on the main-device.
Does Vera support MULTI_CHANNEL_ASSOCIATION ?
Maybe Fibaro HC2 supports?

Vera does not support multichannel association, yet.
How did you come up with such a cool name?
Vera does support some level of multi-channel association - with a flaw or two. It is possible to associate a Fibaro sub-device using the multi-channel field but it is a one-way process: once done, you cannot remove the association without excluding and re-including the sending device.
hello,
there is any news regarding removing Multi-channel association with Vera controller.
I am not sure what a mutli-channel device is but it sounds like it is a limitation of the ControlThink API. I dont remember seeing anything in the API about switching channels.
