Moving Plugins from Vera

Now that I’ve been able to move things over to openLuup, I was wondering what to do about plugins on my Vera. For something like the Nest, should I just delete it off the Vera and run it from openLuup? There is no reason for it to be on the Vera anymore, no?

Also, a little off topic although still with openLuup, does anyone run the Wink Connect controller from openLuup? I’m at that point where I have older dimmers all running incandescent lights but want to upgrade to LED. A z-wave switch is at least $50 and in browsing the forums, I read nothing but problems.

It seems cheaper to go to Zigbee LED lights. From what I’ve seen, they’re not much more than a regular LED light. And if I can control a Wink Connect or some other Zigbee box from openLuup, I think I’d be set. I’m asking here because my primary concern would be to find a solution that will work with openLuup.

thx

No, not really. I have Netatmo, not Nest, but similar issue. Unless you desperately need it on Vera, then try on openLuup before you get rid of the Vera one. @Watou’s version is said to work.

Even if you do need some of those variables on your Vera, you can now use the ‘mirror’ feature of VeraBridge to push those data back to a device on Vera.

The list here http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,36939.msg275403.html#msg275403, says that @cybrmage reported it works.
