Motorized Pool Cover and Chemical Alerts

Any thoughts on how I can use Z-Wave to control a motorized pool cover? In particular, I’d want to combine motion/temperature/humidity sensors with pool water temp with some sort of on/off device (Somfy blind controller? Evolve FM-20?) to optimize heat retention when pool is not in use.

Also, are there any kits to test my pH, et al. levels and notify me when they need attention?

Not sure about what you could use for the pool cover.

As for the chemical test, there is nothing that I know of yet available although I am pushing companies to provide such solutions in the Zwave world. I know that Hayward is working on a wireless-to-internet solution for checking chemicals as well as many other pool controls but it is still in beta and does not run on Zwave although I am not sure what the protocol is.
