I have a bridged Vera set up to monitor the front driveway, yard and garage area. I’m finding that there is a significant lag between an event on the bridged Vera and this event registering on the primary controller. It’s enough of a lag to make triggering scenes off of events a problem. In particular, I have a beam break sensor that is wired into a door/window sensor, so when the beam is broken, it shows up as open on the bridged Vera. Because this is a quick trigger, it never shows up on the main unit. My workaround is to have the sensor trip a virtual switch, but even doing this there is a major lag between when the primary controller sees the tripped switch and sends a notification. I can trip the beam at the end of the driveway, park and be inside before it sends the notification!
Any suggestions/workarounds for this? Took forever to figure out what the issue is. I’d rally like to be able to trigger scenes in a useful way with the events in the driveway, but all of the other lights, etc… are on the primary Vera.
