Thank you, correct me if I’m wrong but I think he is an employee of VERA.

Altho I’m not sure if he was the creator or just the now author of the plugin. But currently the base MIMOlite plugin doesn’t work along with any other plugins that use it for any other purpose.

Again I have sent a PM and no response yet.

I have been in contact with the developer, he is not a Vera employee. He as not able to test his plugins because he only had the one controller a Vera2 that would not support UI7.

I’m sending him a VeraEdge so he can test the plugin…

Me too, just got 3 mimolite devices and cannot really use them.

I was thinking of using regular door sensors. Then I could do it now without running additional wires.

@ Marc Shenker: Thanks for escalating the Mimo Lite app issue on UI7. I look forward to this working again on UI7.

A side , but important note, please commend your support staff, as they are patient, and try to resolve the problems!

Has anyone ever had the Mimolite miss a “Tripped” update? Meaning NOT send one? This morning, here is what happened to me:

  • Garage door went up. Mimolite sent a Tripped update to 1. That’s good.
  • Garage door went down, Mimolite NEVER sent a tripped update. That’s…BAD.
  • I lifted the door and closed it. Only got the single Tripped Update to 0.

It appears that the mimolite thought the door was still open. So on the second open/close cycle, it only sent the Tripped 0 status update on the close.

The interesting part is that it also sends CurrentLevel values during all of this. THOSE seem to indicate open and close. Value goes from 3 to 2170 on Open and 2170 to 3 on Close. The real interesting part is that for the first “MISSED TRIGGER to closed”, it actually did send the CurrentLevel to 2170 (which seems to indicate OPEN).

Note that this is DIFFERENT from the other bug with the mimolite where it just STOPS sending updates altogether. Cause it worked on the second try. Just missed the close.

Anyone else observe this?

What Vera do you have? I heard this is a problem with the EDGE. But on the lite and 3 you should get 3 devices after you open the plugin and add the main device number. They will dump in the no room section. If that didn’t work to resinstall the plugin and device number again. How do you know it created 2 devices?[/quote]

Under the app itself you can see it says it created two devices. However, when you go to the main device page they are not there.[/quote]

This issue happens with 1.5.622 too. I tried it today. If you attempt to follow the install instructions, the Mimolite device disappears immediately after clicking save.
