Migrating from USB Dongle to Vera2

Hey Guys,
I see this has been posted a few times, but there doesn’t actually seem to be a solution (that I can find anyway).
I have a Aeon Labs Z-wave stick which I currently use with Linuxmce, I am looking at moving to a vera2 which has been collecting dust in my office for some time.
I have tried to connect the dongle, backup the z-wave configuration and restore it. However it keeps changes the zwave device to the USB dongle and when I attempt to change it back to the internal one it deletes all the already paired devices.

Is there a way I can add the Vera2 to the existing network, and then get it to take ownership?

Cheers

Hey All,

I just read that I have to use the Dongle as the Vera2 was never made with the AU frequency. That said I have decided to start a fresh.
I am trying to pair my minimote as described here http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,8630.0.html unfortunately it just wont pair.
There are no other devices currently paired. Use Z-Wave version 3.20 instead of 2.78 is NOT ticked, and /dev/usb/tts/0 is set as that is the USB port for my dongle.
I can’t seem to find any logs about what is actually happening so I am not even sure if the command is being sent to the Dongle or not to add this remote.

Any advise?

Cheers

Further to this, I tried pairing a couple of other devices to the Vera2 (USB Dongle) turns out nothing will pair unless I remove the dongle and use the button on this to pair the device.
