I am thinking about getting a Vera and I have found that Micasaverde.com does not show the new ui. Where can I see some pics of the new ui?
Suggestion for Micasaverde-Make the Wiki more user friendly to navigate for the average consumer.

Wow 48 posts and you don’t even own one yet. I don’t know where you can see the new UI though. Buy it and you can see all the UI’s. I agree with the Wiki being poorly implemented.
Paintguy, I totally agree with you.
I just ordered my Vera + 1 module (on/off) to test on a lamp.
I ordered “Programming in LUA, second edition book” for scripting.
I tried to go on the wiki tonight, it’s a freaking NIGHTMARE !
No clue where to start…
actually good point to aim people at
http://docs.mios.com/doc.php?language=1&manual=1&platform=1&page=how_ui_works
the MCV folks have said they realized the wiki was a bad idea becasue it depends on what version of the software you have how things may or may not work.
So they said they decided to bail on the wiki documentation and go more to the http://docs.mios.com/ system for the new hardware and UI3 so they could make version specific stuff.
But not sure how complete that is or not…
The link is not working…
Notice: Undefined variable: previousUrl in /var/www/vhosts/mios.com/docs/lib/lib.inc.php on line 724
Notice: Undefined variable: nextUrl in /var/www/vhosts/mios.com/docs/lib/lib.inc.php on line 724
looks like there’s no home page on that url and instead you have to stumble on an inner page
try something like this to get in and then search around->
http://docs.mios.com/doc.php?language=1&manual=1&platform=0&page=convenience
but I still dont know if it’s complete…
Sorry can’t be of more help.
Hi all,
It’s almost done the documentation. We focused on the content and after this we will modify the design. Indeed, the home page of http://docs.mios.com is blank and we will put content there as soon as we decide on the final structure. The documentation is platform based and the question mark pressed in the UI will take to the right one. A quick method to see content on that page is to enter something like: devices in the search textbox and it will display the results.
what’s MIOS anyway ?
Coming in Feb. 2010!!
Uhh…guys…March is almost over! :
Maybe they meant Feb 2011 ;D
