LTS/Hikvision v5.3.0 firmware

Does anyone know if the snapshot location in v5.3.0 firmware is still “/onvif/snapshot” still? I have a LTS CMIP8912(Hikvision DS-2CD2412F-I) and recently upgraded it to the latest firmware and now my Vera won’t display the snapshots anymore.

Or does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade the firmware back to 5.2.0?

Thanks.

Do you have UPnP turned on in the camera?

I have never used that with my Hikvision’s I think I’m using

http://IPADDRESS/Streaming/Channels/1/picture

I’ll double check right now.

I just checked I’m not running 5.3.0 so can’t tell you

But I do use

http://IPADDRESS:PORT/Streaming/Channels/1/picture

I had a little time over the weekend to test out the channels url. It returned an error, but I was using Chrome. So I am going to try again using Firefox and see what happens.

Chrome is the only way it works for me. You need to use a user and password. or in chrome it will pop up with a window to input it.

What UI version are you running on your Vera? I have v5 running on my Lite. I wonder if v7 treats them any differently.

I’m not running any cameras in vera for a bunch of reasons. But the URL code for the camera doesn’t change. I use a chrome browser for testing.

I have a bunch of the LTS mini domes CMIP3142W-28S and I’m having the same issue. Actually when I try to use the /Streaming/Channel/1/picture it locks the camera up and reboots. I have also tried the /onvif/snapshot and no luck. I’m running firmware 5.3.6 on my cameras.

Anyone got the LTS cameras working with Vera on 5.3.6?

Have you tried the url’s in a web browser?

Yes, the “/onvif/snapshot” doesn’t work and the “/Streaming/channels/1/picture” locks up the camera.

I was using Blue Iris before but that computer died and I’m looking at migrating over to an LTS NVR. For right now I am trying to connect Vera to each camera directly, has anyone had success doing this with the LTS / Hikvision firmware of 5.3 and above?

Hmm, You might want to ask Blueiris what stream/address they were getting the image from if it was working there. RTSP maybe?

Go to ipcamtalk.com. There are lot’s or threads about upgrading HikVision firmware.
