Lowes Iris Thermostat (2-Gig)

I just installed the Lowes Iris Thermostat and it seems to have paired fine to my vera 3. (It shows up as manufactured by 2-gig.) However, it also shows e1 and e2 slave devices. Does anyone have any idea what these are for?

Also, the manual says you should enter the schedule options of the Iris system instead of locally when using z-wave. Anyone care to hazard a guess if the schedule is actually handled internally by the Iris versus directly on the Thermostat? If the latter, any suggestions on how to get vera to show the programmable schedule options?

Thanks!

I have the Trane thermostat. It too has internal schedule abilities that could be programmed. However, what I do is to program the thermostat as part of my scenes. It gives me far better control over the thermostat. For example when I go on vacation or out of town, the thermostat schedule is automatically tracking what Vera does. No need to mess with the thermostat.
