Looking to hire a Developer to create a custom plug-in for Vera

I am interested in receiving proposals to develop a custom plugin for Vera which will allow full control and reporting of a relatively well-established z-wave device, manufactured and sold by one of the largest companies in its industry. I will pay the developer for the finished code, with the understanding that updates and bug fixes may be required depending upon the suitability, quality, and stability of what is provided. If necessary, I can and will design and supply the UI for the plug in myself, with the developer responsible for making the plug in work ‘under the hood’.

Ongoing support or updates and compensation for such will be discussed as part of the proposal. It would be expected that the initial release be fully functional and bug free, with one year of support and bug fixes provided. Ongoing support and/or updates would be addressed and contracted separately.

This plug-in will be sold as part of a complete package to provide an end-user solution for remote control and programming over IP of the readily available control device, by means of a Vera controller

Please send me a PM outlining exactly what you need in order to put a suitable RFP together and I will respond to you with the intention of being able to provide all necessary details and background in order for you to complete your submission.

Please feel free to ask any questions you wish.

Thank you for your interest and assistance.

I’m not a programmer, but… would you mind describing what z-wave device you need control and reporting for? There may be existing solutions to the problems you face and other people may desire the same plugin you do and may provide ideas and support.

The PE653 Intermatic Pool Controller. There are 32 pages of discussion about this on a thread on this forum. There is no working solution, and Vera has been completely silent about it, and not even responded to my tech support requests about it.
