Load type on Leviton Dimmer DZ1KD-1BZ/DZ6HD-1BZ

Per the manual there is supposed to be a parameter to change the load type
0= Incandescent
1= LED
2= CFL

However I am not able to find “Load Type”" in the parameters/variables. Has anyone gotten this working?

Thanks!

Did you ever get an answer to your question?

I just installed this dimmer into my Z-Wave network using a VeraPlus. The dimmer works fine except the dimming rate is not smooth like other dimmers that I have. The switch just seems to hop to the next dimming level. It’s not very aesthetically pleasing.

If I use the switch itself to dim the lights, then it is very smooth. When Vera issues a dim level command, the switch just “hops” to the final level.

I am sure there is a ramp speed or some setting that can be adjusted. I just have not found it.

Its under DEVICE OPTIONS for your Leviton wall dimmer. Item #8. I don’t think that it makes any difference how you set it though.

8-Load Type (0=Incandescent or 1=LED or 2=CFL or 3=Mark 10)
