Just wondering if anyone has come across any long lists of things people have done besides the obvious things like lighting/shades/etc. I’m looking for more complex stuff, like some of the things I’ve done:
- RFID transmitters in the car to automatically open the garage when they return
- Sending a command to an Android phone which starts Scanner Radio playing my local police feed into a whole house audio system
- Voice alerting over the speaker system when the garage doors are open for more than 5 mins and the outside temp is under 55 degress
- Building a little relay thingy which trips when power is cut to my “off-peak” power feed and alerting via voice and sms
I’m looking for complex scenarios that may require additional equipment or communication to other types of devices to accomplish a task.
