I have an insteon 74551 rev 2.3 2014 and it won’t show up in my vera 3. I add it by the address and it comes up genericIO and only states “unable to get any information on node”. I have re-added it a number of times and clicked the buttons on the unit and my PLM with no difference in results. Any help would be appreciated.
Native Vera Insteon? Altsteon?
If native Vera Insteon, it is probably not supported.
I have this unit – two in fact - and they work great under Altsteon. Never tried under native Insteon though.
Be sure to link them them both to the PLM and the PLM to them in order to get nearly instant updates when the doors open (if you only link them one way, you’ll be able to control the doors, but will only get reports of them opening and closing when your Vera periodically polls them (usually, up to 10 minutes).
