I am truly frustrated having spent all this money on z wave devices. Now all of a sudden all lights in the house flicker once in a while. I mean I spent a lot of money and time installing wall switches and a couple dimmers.
I am truly pis__d. Could the z wave be causing this? I have a Veralite also.
Yes I understand that. Thing is I installed 4 switches or more and this was not having this problem until this week. I didn’t put in new switches for over a week. I was careful about line, load and neutral . Wired as such:
Black line to line connection, black load to load connection and added a neutral white wire to neutral. I’m not a stranger to electrical, I have ran plenty of wire and correctly. The dimmers only have 2 wires line and load.
Guess I’ll have to pull each one and see if that’s the problem. Maybe the main power coming in has an issue?
I agree with Cor, turn off all circuit breakers in your house, and then turn each one on one at a time. It may take some time to troubleshoot if it is an intermittent issue.
I understand your frustration. Some zwave wire in switches have a cut-off switch. It’s basically a hidden way to disconnect the switch from power. For leviton switches, you can push on the top part of the rocker and the bottom part of the rocker will kind of pop out disconnecting power to the zwave electronics and load. Ge/Jasco switches have something similar except its a small rectangle looking thing that you pull out. I mention this because it may help you diagnose some pattern if some of the switches are on the same circuit. You can turn off certain switches and see if it impacts you situation. I’m not certain how these cut off operate when you have wiring set ups with 3way and greater. Consult manufacturer documentation for procedures and any safety information.
Could be a defective switch with a short circuit inside, or could be a bad/loose connection between wiring connections somewhere. If so, it’s likely sparking and would be a fire hazard. I know it sucks opening all your boxes back up and re-connecting all the wiring to ensure good connections everywhere, but well worth it to prevent a tragedy.
This is the way to go. Open the ‘air gap’ switch and try to isolate the culprit along with what may be its accomplice. Remember to look at any timers (in-wall intermatic, for example) that have the potential to create noise on your circuits.
Since we don’t hear this kind of issue much, kindly let us know @araczek once you find out.

Don’t want to tear it all out. >:(
PLEASE HELP. Really down about this. :-[[/quote]
All of your lights flicker or is it just your Z-Wave lights?
If it is all of the lights in the house, are they incandescent or LED?
If it is all of your lights, even incandescent ones not attached to Z-Wave devices, then it is unlikely to be Z-Wave or Vera. If this is the case my guess would be, bad mains feed to the house or a bad main breaker.
