I’m getting ready to install some cabinets in my garage and as part of this I am going to have workbench lighting in the upper cabinets. I’m considering Sylvania Lightify LED Tape Lights. I don’t need color changing or dimming as this is a work space that needs high luminosity, near white color temperature and High CRI.

Anybody have luck with including these in Vera via ZigBee? I have not included any ZigBee devices and this one is not listed in the UI so it’ll have to be a generic device…

Some other folks have been able to add them as a generic Zigbee device with intensity-only control. If you don’t plan on changing the color temperature you might be OK.

I have SYLVANIA Osram Lightify Gardenspot Mini RGB and would really like to be able to use them as I move off of the ST platform. Is there any chance of this working in the future? Or would I be able to write my own code to make it work (I understand this would be a heavy learning curve, just asking if it is actually possible)?
