Hello !
I buy one 2 load controler LEVITON to turn on 2 different lamps.
model: VRCS2-MRZ
I can not include this device to my network…
I can read on the manual this device is zwave compatible…
and another thing anormally…the leds when the lamps is off do not turns on…always is off…only when I press the 2 buttons the red leds blinks…I think this is the programation mode…
if someone have one of these, please give me a help…
thank you !!!

I use three of these to turn GE switches on and off. To include them in the network hold down both buttons until the lights flash Amber. This puts Vera into include mode. (to ensure you are starting fresh you could reset the unit by holding down both buttons until they are red then hold down until amber and put Vera into Exclude mode to ensure this is a fresh install before putting Vera into include mode). Once this device is added you should be able to add scenes via the Scenes tab of the device created. These scenes would be whatever device you want to control on/off. I have one of these units that I was able to just add the buttons without creating a scene controller so that they just looked like a dual zwave switch. I did this by taking another step and putting Vera into include mode and holding down button 1 only until amber (it included) then holding down button 2 until amber (it included) then in Vera I just ended up with 2 devices and not a scene controller ??? (Which is what I want). I cannot get the other 2 units to behave that way… ???
I have 2 of these that provide 2 switches and 1 scene plus manual switches work to control other scenes. My suggestion it to move Vera close to switch and allow the include enough time to link up with everything in the unit.
PS: Use the search function and you will find multiple threads on the VRCS2.
As the other folks said: you probably get best results when moving Vera close to the controller; after inclusion, you should see a scene controller and two switches; the automatic inclusion of the switches appears to fail sometimes, but you can always manually include the switches afterwards; do a search for prior threads.

On that particular controller, do you have to create scenes to make the buttons do anything?[/quote]
No… Which is what I have wanted from the beginning… I think there was a thread that you and I had discussed and someone said this worked… Well one of my three does… ??? I am going to try the other two tonight and see what magical combination can make this happen. The only difference is the one that works is on a Vera Lite and the other two are handled by a Vera3 (same firmware though).
