My Leviton dimmer lights (wired as a 3-way) which have been working fine for about 9 months now are going on and off by themselves. It doesn’t seem to be related to the MCV as it happens even with the MCV disconnected. Any ideas?
I have a hallway where this has happened 3 or 4 times in the last year where the light has turned on. I’m not sure if you see it more frequently or not. I typically push in the air gap switch to disconnect the switch and remote for a few minutes. This seems to limit how often this happens.
Another suggestion for troubleshooting this problem would be to temporarily disconnect the Auxiliary switch from the main one. There could be an intermittant short in the wires/switch that are triggering the main switch to turn on. If you disconnect the auxiliary switch and the problem goes away, you then know where to start looking.
