Latest firmware update with UI5 1.5.622 issue with displaying saved pin codes

FYI

After I updated my firmware to 1.5.622 I began verifying my ZWAVE devices to ensure no issues had appeared.
I did find one issue, when I attempted to view my saved pin codes for each Kwikset lock they would not display even though the saved button was still selected.
I found that if I created a pin code “FIRMTEST” “01291235” it immediately brought back all of the saved codes from memory and promptly displayed them as before.
I just repeated this event for each lock to bring back and display the saved codes.
Keep this in mind if you believe the codes had been erased.

Same problem with a Yale lock. The workaround doesn’t, though.

EDIT: the workaround does work, after all. How on earth did you find out about it?

Ah well, it displayed codes for a while. Now they’ve gone. And I can’t sent another FIRMTEST code because it complains about “duplicate code”.

Any thoughts?

FIRMTEST is just a name. Use something else. It doesn’t matter what the name is. Also use a different code.

I’m not understanding something then.

The area where the codes are set/deleted remains blank, despite the codes being correcly entered in the lock - they work fine at the door.

I’ve set 4 (real) codes that I use (I wrote them down with the numbers) - in what way are they different from FIRMTEST 01291235 if neither the name nor the number is significant? And why don’t they display?

The absence of the displayed codes also means I can’t set any time restrictions nor change and delete any codes.

After the update on my Vera 2, the PIN codes for my locks did not appear in the list of PIN codes. I noticed that the ‘Keep a copy of my PIN codes’ box was unchecked.

I checked that box, and clicked the red Save button. After the LUUP reload (and lock polling), the PIN codes now appeared. They appeared un-hashed. I went back and unchecked that box again and the PIN codes appeared in the list hashed.

I had to do this for all of my locks.

I just did a test. The “save codes” box was checked. So I unchecked it, saved, re-checked it and saved again.

The codes window is still entirely blank below the words “Existing Codes”, even though there are 4 codes set.

Another problem with the lock is that it won’t keep quiet; I’ve set the audio mode to ‘3’ which is supposed to be silent, but it doesn’t get configured that way. I have to set it manually on the lock (#5#3#) - but then next time Vera configures the lock it’s back to making a noise again.
