Does anyone know how or if there is a software upgrade for the Kwikset locks? Their press release says the locks have the capability of software upgrades. Do you know how this is accomplished?

There is no firmware update available for these locks that I know of. I have been using these locks for some time both the deadbolt and leverlock (been testing them for Micasa and kwikset).

As you’ve been testing the kwikset, have you had problems with your locks have difficulty getting secured classes? I have two locks with controller behind a wall not more than 10 ft, I have to move the controller closer before I get resolution.

I have this issue every now and then after a heal network. Try moving Vera closer, heal again and then move it back, that sometimes does it for me.
