issues when Healing

Hi everyone,

I have read about a dozen other posts related to Z-Wave healing and Manual routing, and it seems very conflicting and confusing. I have tried a number of times to do a few Z-Wave auto repairs (with different options checked and not checked), however I still get a lot of errors such as “unable to get any information on node” and “unable to get information on manufacturer”. This only happens to devices that are battery powered such as D/W sensors. I’ve also noticed a lot of slow response from some devices…which is why I tried a few Z-Wave heals.

What are the options that need to be checked and unchecked in a Z-wave repair (on the Options and Repair tabs) that will give me optimal performance of my system? I am using a Vera 3 running Ui7.

As well, can someone steer me in the right direction to speed up my response (should the above not work? I currently have 14 wired z-wave devices and 18 battery operated z-wave devices.

Battery devices don’t help strengthen the network which is what seems to be the problem. 14 wired devices seems to be a good amount and it really depends on the location distance and objects in the way.

How far is the trouble devices and is it always the same ones? How many different devices are having this problem? If we determine that it’s a range issue for around 10.00 you can get an external antenna that would help that a bit.
