Issues triggering events from Door Lock PIN

I have just installed one of these : Z-Wave Home Automation Australia | Best Smart Home Devices!
and I am trying to set up scenes and notifications to trigger from a entered PIN
I am sure I have done it all correctly but still the scenes/notifications do not trigger how can I find where the problem lays ie:the door lock or my vera 3 (on beta 1.5.532 if that makes a difference)

baxy_AU, does the web interface update immediately when you enter a correct PIN? I ask because that will establish whether the lock is even trying to communicate with the Z-Wave network upon entry of a PIN.

I know that the unreleased beta 1.5.532 contains some changes specifically for Australian door locks (it’s mentioned in the release notes). The fact that you’re running it means you’ve probably already been talking to MCV support. Since it’s such a new feature I’m sure they’re interested in knowing that it’s not behaving as expected.

I’m still waiting for a decent Australian Z-Wave lock. Hoping that you’ve found it. Please let us know how it goes.

Hi futzle
The web interface changes from locked to unlocked ok and I can see in notifications that it is sending lock and unlock trigger but I am trying to trigger a scene and alert when a certain PIN is entered but it will not trigger.
I have contacted MCV tech support but it is a lengthy process being in Australia (I went through it all with the schlage lock). I was hoping i was doing something simple wrong that someone here could point out

Hi Baxy,_AU

Did you end up getting the trigger with certain PIN to function? Im thinking about getting one of these locks (im in Perth), are you happy with the results?

Hi timmyg
I’m not 100% happy as the trigger issue is ongoing also I have noticed it does not lockout after a number of incorrect PINs are entered. I do perfer the way the lock mechanism works and looks compared to the schlage lock tho
btw I’m in perth also

Small world

Thanks for the feedback they are cheaper than the schlage options! Are you using it on a main door?

I wonder how the schlage locks go with the new firmware. Its an expensive trial if things do not work as you hope.
