Does anybody knows if there is a way to create graphs locally? (Like cacti?)
I have an Synology NAS server which I want to use to store logs or create graphs. Can anyone pin-point me in the right direction?
Thanx in advance

There have been a few post about this question. A search would yield you those results.
I take it you have seen the DataMine Plugin? Was that not if use/interest?
Excuse me for asking!? I tried this forum for several searches. I wouldn’t post it if I could find it in a easy way. I’m new to the Vera thing/ Vera forum and trying to find my way around. In stead of answering with flame posting, you also could also post a real answer like pakerc did. :![]()
Thanx for pin-pointing me to this app. Didn’t realized this option… ;D
I’ll gife it a try, thanx!
We longtime members are damned if we do, damned if we don’t. You didn’t mention anything in your original post saying you’d tried a forum search so we have nothing to distinguish you from someone who was too lazy to look for themselves.
Personally, I’m just going to go back to ignoring posts asking basic questions that could be found with a search*. Which will lead to more useless threads containing only the original poster’s question, and perhaps a plaintive bump from them 1 to 20 days later.
I don’t think I have to mentioned what I already did when starting a new posting. That will be long first-time postings, which does not contribute to be a clear, to-the-point question. BTW, I’m member of several technical forums, where are a lot of ‘dumb’ (IMHO dumb questions do not exist
) or ‘lazy’ questions are asked. It’s to the forum-members, as you correctly mentioned, if they want to answer the post. If a post is (easy) to answer I personally try to give them a link to the relevant topic, if I know where it can be found. Just because, if you are a longtime member, you know where you can find (more) easily where and what to search for.
In my personal experience a lot of this questions are posted not because of laziness (of course they do exist… ) but rather not have the knowledge (jet) how, or where, to look for. Also, as everybody experience every while and then, you will not see the wood for the trees and trying to get the right straight answer. A little help in the right direction will help a lot to get to final goal.
I always try to remember that not everybody is having the same (technical) skills. Just let we help each other in constructive way, without putting labels on each other… (World peace would also be nice… ;D )
Anyway, thanx for replying. It is highly appreciated!
This was the app I was looking for! Thanx!
