IP Video webserver 9100B and Question

Hi
Just started with VeraLite and Z wave.

Had an existing 4 port camera server IP Video. After searching thro forum, found a link to 9100a server. Which I think is the same internals as 9100B, just mounted in a metal case rather plastic.

In the post found reference to upgrade firmware, which would permit access to jpg files.
Download the firmware upgrade from http://9100.yoics.com/includes/builds/yoics9100a_2_47.zip, upgrade worked Ok. Reinforcing the 9100A and 9100b Appear to be same.

files are in /usr/ypics0.jpg this access file from first port the remainig 3 files change yoics1.jpg thro to 3.

Went into Vera manually add IP camera. If selected Generic IP camera defaulted to
http://192.168.0.20/img/snapshot.cgi?size=640x480&quality=4

if changed to http://192.168.0.20/usr/yoics3.jpg the camera would not add. So left at the default and changed in settings to \usr\yoics1.jpg that worked Ok

add all four ports succesfuly

One camera I have at the moment plays Ok in HomeWave

Hopefully the above will be useful someone

Now for the question

Is there a way to send a notification with a picture of when a PIR was tripped.
I have set up notification to send a text when the PIR has detected moton

Think I’m having a Homer Simpson moment. Scan thro the various posts, found VeraAlerts. Have now setup to send email to my email to sms account. At the same time email me a picture from the camera.

Dooh

Hi

Thanks. Followed your procedure and for some reason camera would not add. Do you have yoics connection enabled? any ideas?
Thanks

Hi when you selected manually try not selecting Generic IP camera add the path ot the files and click next.
I had a couple of goes before it added.

I just added a second camera, which resulted in frame slipping, black lines rolling down thro image,

http//ipdaress and selected 5 seconds and update and image stabilised

Hi

I have managed to follow your steps but unable to get the part where you change the settings for: \usr\yoics1.jpg Where do you change this?

If you have added camera to Vera, you should now have four cameras. Click on the setup for the camera (spanner in the top right), select settings tab and scroll down to URL and enter

usr/yoics0.jpg for camera 1

Then on the second camera repeat and enter
usr/yoics1.jpg for camera 2

and so on

Hi

Another thing as it wont let me upgrade the firmware. I goto the firmware page and select upload firmware and leave it and nothing happens.

Hi sorry does this mean you have not upload the yoics firmare into the camera server ?

No i havent sorry should of said that in 1st post. its not allowing me. do you know of any other way?

Hi

I can confirm the update has been successful. Attached picture with firmware version.

attached photos of settings within vera to see where i have gone wrong

Tried this also

Hi in url I have usr/yoics3.jpg this camera 4

in the other 3 usr/yoics0.jpg camera 1

in settings IP address 192.168.0.20

enter the mac address, this goes into the other camera as ip camera should have 4 devices

Also in advanced set username and password

I have attached a screen print, dont know how to just capture just the settings part. So it is word doc

Sorry removed file s jut realised I had sent it with the password

Hi file without password

Attached what mine is like now and still nothing

Just a snapshot of that address bar with picture as it is working correctly. just vera end.

The only thing I can see wrong is you have backslash \ where as in mine forward slash usr/yoics3.jpg

I take it you have 4 cameras showing up in vera ?

attached view of vera

Still have a slight problem. The picture isnt showing on the dashboard. Attached other picture

problem solved. re-named the camera and it worked. thank you for all your help with this. Now onto the next challenge sending a image to my phone when doorbell pressed
