I have a strange thing happening; When I connected to my VERA remotely via MiOS, and the dashboard comes up, all of my devices (light switches, dimmers, sensors, locks) are missing in all of my rooms. I do have Scenes, and camera’s, Virtual devices, along with Weather, GWC, debug utilities and Homecare widgets. What I find interesting is my “All Locks Locked” virtual device seems to be working as it indicates that my non-existent locks are locked. I looked at the filters to ensure that they were properly selected (they were), I tried using different browsers (Firefox and IE8) with the same success. Once I can get home I will attempt the Power On Reset (POR) on VERA with the hope’s that it resolves my invisible devices. Has anyone else experience this issue and if so what was the root cause? I Also viewed MiOS event tab and noted that I had device activity up to @16:00 yesterday, I haven’t done anything of late (over two weeks) that might have precipitated the problem Mike
I’ve seen some weird stuff, most all browser related.
Try Ctrl F5 (to clear the browsers cache)

@JOD, thanxs for the comeback. I thought of the same thing and tried Ctrl-F5 both yesterday and today with no success. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do a POR on Vera will do that tonight and will report results. Mike
Have you had a look at the user_data to see if the devices actually exist, and their status?
@mcflorin, I have not looked at user_data yet, will do this evening. As indicated earlier I did performed a POR on VERA with no success. Looking at my scenes I’ve noticed that device numbers are missing also looking at the debug Utilities it indicates that I only have 22 devices which is my virtual devices, cameras, Weather, GWC debug utilities and Home care widgets. The one thing that did notice last Sunday was that my Thermostat device which originally was in the Kitchen showed up in my devices tab, but it was a generic thermostat device meaning the current settings were not displayed on the GUI, however I could see status in the advance tab. I didn’t think much about until I looked at my UI4 on Tuesday when all my z-wave devices disappeared. I did open a ticket (11/7/11) and have yet to here anything from MCV. Mike
Update: MCV so graciously helped, confirmed that all of my z-wave devices had disappeared (causes unknown, looking at logs to assess). They (@Silviup) took an earlier backup (week ago) , and cut/pasted my devices into one of my VERA files. I now have my original devices (yea!). Would be nice to have the procedure used documented for VERA user committee in case similar problem occurs. First ticket submitted with great results thanxs @Silviup for support. Mike
