Intermatic InTouch CA600 Switch status not updating on computer/phone

I use the Intermatic InTouch CA600 Switches and I have a problem with the light switch not updating its status on the computer or app on my iphone when using the the switch itself to turn the light on/off. When I turn the light on/off via the iphone app or computer it updates between the two properly, but when I use the switch itself and look at the status on the computer or iphone app it doesn’t change it’s current state. Is this what is meant by this model switch not supporting “Instant Status?” I have tried refreshing the connection on both and no such luck. I am using a VeraLite.

Welcome to the forum. If you haven’t already seen the other thread dedicated to this switch and the on/off version, I would advise you having a look. I do not have the direct link as I’m mobile, but you can find it through the search function.

To answer your question, these switches do not support the instant status protocol and requires vera to poll their status. This is why you see the status not update when triggered manually at the switch. Over time it will get updated.
