I’ve wiped because I was having problems for a while now, and I’m starting new.

I want to install the latest current version. v4.0.21 EVL looks to be the latest.

I’ve downloaded it (without doing anything else like installing any other version or automatically installing from "Install Apps) and am following the “Installation - Manual” documentation.

At the bottom of the “Create Device” page, there are two dropdown menus: “Room” and “Parent Device”

Do I/Can I select a Room, and what do I choose, if anything, for Parent Device?

Well, I chose the room I wanted in that dropdown, didn’t choose anything for Parent Device.

I reloaded the engine, and I get the blue “EVL3VistaAlarmPanel: Startup FAILED: Panel IP Address not set. Autodiscover not enabled.” as I should.

I can’t find the app. It’s not under the room. It’s not under devices. It’s not under “my apps”.

There it is! I logged out and back in. Now, to set it up.

Did my zones manually. A few minutes later - there it all is.

The documentation might need a review/update, but it all worked!
