I just included a new thermostat. It is now included and works great.
I needed to power Vera up by plugging into an outlet near the device. I used the Z-wave button on vera and everything worked fine.
I vaguely remember reading that Vera can connect to the network via direct connection to a Laptop’s Ethernet. Another words, have Vera connect to the internet through the laptops WiFi connection.
Is this true? I was unable to find an article about this.
