ImperiHome is insecure ?

We use Vera to switch modes to arm and disarm our security devices. We were surprised to find out that Imperihome has NO security. Anyone who can access any one of the many devices in our home with Imperihome can change the modes and disarm our security.

We are REALLY hoping it’s a setting we missed, because this is a major security flaw.

yes it is something you missed.

You don’t have to put a username or password in it, just IP adress, meaning it can only be access on the local network.

In settings you have a setting in general preferences, lock configuration actions.
When you setup a tile in the dashboard you can secure it with a pincode (protect action).

As cor suggests you can lock it so you need a pin for actions.
Also a pin to access the menus.
