Hello, I’m just starting with Vera and are at the point where just learning what I can get it to do.
I can get eventghost to talk to Vera, and will get a reply back. But there’s seems to be no easy way to get Vera to send
commands or events to eventghost.
The basic idea is a Vera plugin that would be a switch it would use eventghosts TCP receiver plugin to send events to EG.
Names of the events sent could be changed by renaming the switch of changing a variable.
The uses of this are endless and would be very popular.
One example how it could be used if the light settings of a theater room where manually lowered past a set level. Eventghost could be triggered to adjust display settings to compensate for the new light level.
So anyone with the skill to write a plugin and think this is a worth while idea have at it.
