Is it ok to say that there is no Z-Wave humidity sensor available on the market at the present time ?
(For confirmation).
Thanks

Interesting: my interrogation started exactly with that device when looking at my online store, Smarthome-Products…

You will notice that the product is not offered and Jay (the owner) says that there is no firm ETA date for delivery.

That brings us back to my question…

hmmm, well that stinks… what about the Everspring ST804 Temperature & Humidity Detector? Looking at the specs it states that it has a built in 868/923MHz Transceiver module, this appears to be Z Wave however does it conform to the 908Mhz Freq and is it compatible with Vera? If not, then I fear your hypothesis is correct. shrug Well, we always have the good 'ol trusty weather plugin which gives you the humidity within Vera. ;D

Yes, but it still not gives the humidity in my basement…

The HM-TS001 - Z-Wave Temperature / Humidity Sensor is the Everspring ST804 Temperature & Humidity Detector rebranded

:o LMAO!!! Well damn, how about that one? O’kay, how do we go about forcing a manufacturer to make us a Z Wave Temp/Humidity sensor? Call up the Z Wave Alliance and start a petition or a protest, how about a riot? lol. Yeah, we definitely need a Z Wave Temp/Humidity sensor.

I want one of those myself, that sure would be useful to have in a basement and if the humidity gets too high to automatically turn on a dehumidifier.

I think that’s a safe assumption.

On March 10th I ordered the last three pieces this company said they had available, I’ve yet to receive them and was told they shipped on April 20th (maybe they are on a slow boat from China)

The invoice states: www.zwaveproducts.com

JOD.

Item currently out of stock - -14 pcs. available

Difficult to understand: “out of stock” and “14 pcs available”…Maybe it is “minus 14 pcs available” ? ::slight_smile:
