HSM1000 Multi-Sensor "Forgetting" Configuration After "Heal"

I have had problems with the HSM sensors “forgetting” their configuration after I do a “Heal Network” in vera. As in, my motion tripped lights no longer turn on after I have done a heal. It doesnt happen every time, but most times. I have to manually wake up the sensors (by pressing the button on them) and then pressing “Configure Node Right Now” in vera. Then they work again.

When running a heal network, I realize these sensors only wake up so often… So I set the “wait for battery operated nodes to wake up” for 45min or more. I thought that this setting would wait for the sensors to wake up before attempting to configure them, but it seems that vera is doing something wrong in this regard…

Also… I have 2 of these sensors and only one of them is showing the “battery level” icon… the other one never shows it.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems with these sensors?

Yup. Same problem after a “Heal”

I have only one of these HSM100 and I used to get the battery level before, but don’t see it lately since couple upgrades back…
On the other hand, other battery operated sensors (like door HRDS1 and water leak WWA001) work fine and show the battery level.

I used to see the battery level on 1 of the 2 sensors I have in 6XX firmware… now in 899 both of my sensors show battery level… i had assumed it was something MCV had fixed.

When you leave checked the ‘reconfigure’ box before a heal, Vera clears out all the config data for the device and does it again from scratch. For a battery operated device that means the configuration might not happen for a couple hours after the heal network finishes when the device sends it’s first ‘wakeup’ command that it’s ready to let Vera configure it. You can force the HSM100 to wakeup by hitting the blue button, if it’s within range of Vera.
