HSM 100 icons on the dashboard

In the motion sensor field of the HSM 100 sensors on the dashboard there is a little red or green “light” next to the arm/bypass buttons. Any ideas what they mean, and what triggers their change?

I assume red is triggered and green is not, but if so, what brings it back to “not triggered”?

That’s the “tripped” state of your motion sensor. It gets “tripped” when it sees any motion, obviously. And it gets “untripped” when there is no motion for some time (20 minutes, by default).
