how to set a notification based on watts consumption with an158 (ES)
I get only notification for turn off or on

Connected to Vera I have a CurrentCost device which measures current and I use the Virtual Switch plug-in to monitor the current value and set a switch when the current exceeds a certain value. I can then use this switch to trigger scenes etc.

Hi clairedenys,

I am assuming that the AN158 actually reports power, and that you can see it on the dashboard. If not, then you can stop here.

How I would do this:

  1. Install the Combination Switch plugin from apps.mios.com.
  2. Create a Combination Switch device (or configure the one that was auto-created).
  3. Go to the Configuration tab and set it up like the first screenshot (100 W to infinity in this example).
  4. Set up a notification like in the second screenshot.

You can also use the EMS plugin which is know to work with AN158.
