How to set a manual route for Kwikset lock

I’m having problems with my Kwikset locks maintaining connection to the Vera3, and someone suggested in another thread that placing a module that supports security beaming near the locks would help fix the problem.

They also suggested I specify a manual route in the lock so that it would always use the nearby module to communicate with the Vera3. My question is…how do I do specify a manual route? Thanks in advance.

Open the settings for the Lock (wrench).
Go to the Device Options tab.
In the Manual Z-wave Route field, enter the Node ID for the beaming capable device.
Close the settings screen.
Click the Red Save button.
